Dr. Erin Cole is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong commitment to lifelong learning and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. With a clinical background that spans across outpatient, inpatient, and community mental health settings, Dr. Cole specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders across the lifespan.

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, following her earlier degrees in Nursing and Psychology. Dr. Cole has served diverse populations through her roles at Crescent City Psychiatric, START Community Health Center, Florida Parishes Human Services Authority, and the VA Medical Center in New Orleans. Her career began in high-acuity hospital settings, where she gained foundational experience in ICU and medical-surgical nursing.

Dr. Cole is licensed in Louisiana as an APRN and RN and holds certifications including PMHNP-BC and CCRN. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Known for her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and adaptability, Dr. Cole is highly skilled in electronic health records systems including EPIC, Cerner, InSync, and eClinicalWorks. She is passionate about advancing mental health equity and providing client-centered psychiatric care in her community.
