Originally from Washington, DC, JaiAnn holds a BA in Africana Cultural Studies with a minor in Oceanic Studies from California State University, Northridge, and brings experience in nonprofit and behavioral health work serving families and communities. Her background includes CCS Case Management and creative work with the Awareness Film Festival, supporting storytelling rooted in social justice and environmental care. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus on trauma and family systems, JaiAnn approaches her role as a CIS Case Manager with a commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive care shaped by intergenerational wisdom. Grounded in both Geechee and Indigenous roots, she believes healing is relational, collective, and deeply connected to history, land, and community. Outside of work, she enjoys beach days with her daughter, collecting crystals, and staying grounded in practices that honor intuition, resilience, and care across generations.
