Sidney A. Bandy, LSW, is a dedicated and emerging leader in the field of social work with a strong focus on youth justice, trauma recovery, and community-based behavioral health. With experience spanning direct counseling, case management, and systems advocacy, Sidney brings a trauma-informed and equity-driven approach to every role she takes on.

Currently serving as a Lead Clinical Housing Case Manager at Rainbow Health. Sidney provides counseling, case management, and care coordination. She works closely with treatment providers and community organizations to bridge service gaps and ensure her clients have pathways toward healing and stability.

A graduate of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Sidney holds both a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work. Her academic training included internships at the Hawai‘i Appleseed Center for Law & Economic Justice and the Domestic Violence Action Center, grounding her practice in advocacy, research, and systemic reform. She also maintains professional certifications, including as a Certified Anger Management Instructor and current CPR/First Aid provider.

Sidney is recognized for her passion, perseverance, and ability to meet youth and families where they are, while driving broader systems change. Guided by the values of dignity, compassion, and justice, she is building a career devoted to ensuring all  people can access the support they need to thrive.
